2020 has been an interesting year in a lot of ways…not just for me but for the world. I’ve never been in a pandemic before, have you?
I do a project each year and am just starting my 2020 project-better late than never right?
I’m an advocate of having personal projects. I think they keep you moving, motivated and thinking. I read an article that said a lot of people stop learning after the age 40 and I have to say I’ve made some observations that that’s true for a lot of people. Sometimes we get into a routine mode of work-home-work-home or work-church-work church and that’s the gist of life. I hear people saying “I’m bored” and it boggles my mind. How do we get bored? But that’s another topic for another day.
Today, I’m excited to announce the launch of my 2020-2021 project-When They See Us! It’s a celebration of encouraging and INpowered women across the color spectrum and across the world.
launch: September 1st.
I’m hoping to launch with 10 INpowering stories for readers to be inspired by. I mean we are fearfully and wonderfully made and there’s a great deposit in us waiting to let someone else know that they can do and helping them to hold on and press through.
